Pooja Tolani - Pooja and Bhavesh's journey is truly inspiring. Their transformation from ambitious students in marketing and software engineering to becoming leading meditation advocates highlights their dedication to personal growth and their desire to bring about positive change in the world.
Having discovered the transformative power of meditation through the Art of Living and Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s teachings in 1999, they were able to incorporate these practices into their own lives, which led them to a deeper sense of purpose. By 2001, they committed themselves fully to sharing these teachings with others, becoming Art of Living Instructors and using their unique skills to blend ancient wisdom with modern-day wellness practices.
Their extensive global experience — from Indian villages to bustling European cities, and across North and Central America — speaks to the universal appeal of the Art of Living teachings. They’ve not only reached thousands of individuals but have also made their mark in diverse settings such as corporate environments, universities, and government institutions, helping people cope with stress and improve overall well-being. Here in Calgary, they spearheaded the hugely successful Yogathon for 6 consecutive years with over 600 yogis rising and stretching for a cause on Stephen Avenue. To bring the most bustling part of the city to a standstill is quite symbolic of the work they do. From Bringing calm to some of the most chaotic groups of people to the most challenging terrains, they’ve done it all.
As trainers of new meditation teachers, Pooja and Bhavesh’s dedication goes beyond simply instructing; they mentor and coach with the goal of creating a ripple effect — nurturing new leaders who can continue spreading peace, mindfulness, and wellness.
Their work goes beyond meditation; it is a transformative force that is changing lives, one breath at a time.

Yin/Restorative and Business 101
Kim Wallace - Spiritual and self-aware from a young age, Kim always felt a deep calling toward a meaningful life. Kim’s career path initially led her through a decade in the finance industry, climbing the ladder and leading her teams to world-wide incentive trips. After leaving the bank, Kim received a Bachelor of Arts in Culture & Communication, shifting her focus to education, and working with children with disabilities. While working in education, Kim was teaching at Soul Hot Yoga and in 2023, the opportunity arose for Kim and her husband to step into the role of Owners. It could not have felt more in alignment. Growing up as a gymnast and dancer, she developed a deep appreciation for movement, the human body, and the intricacies of muscle engagement and further went on to study these topics in University. In 2013, A spinal injury became a pivotal moment in Kim’s life, introducing her to yoga through Critical Alignment Therapy. This introduction opened the door to Hatha Yoga where she completed her first Yoga Teacher Training followed by two additional trainings in Yin. Years of pain and dis-ease in the body, Kim experienced the power of slower, mindful practices. Yin and Restorative became more than modalities, they became lifelines - shaping her teaching approaches and philosophies today. While this is her first time being a facilitator in a Yoga Teacher Training, she is no stranger to leadership. She has spent years empowering others to reach their potential,
and she is honored to be in this seat, supporting you in any small way down your own transformative path, and sharing her love of Yin, Restorative, and Business.
